These days it is not easy with money. Many thing are very expensive. Many things are still getting very expensive. And this is exact where eBay comes with its advantages: 1.) The extremely cheap prices on eBay: On eBay is a lot of competition. So many different kind of groups try to sell on eBay; you can buy second hand stuff but also new goods. We will concentrate now on the new goods which are sold on eBay: Your advantage is, that big dealers try to sell as well as smaller ones and private persons (bought something wrong or found out that they do not need). So you always have the choice of the best price. If it is your new furniture, another car, even food, clothes etc - you'll find it on eBay! 2.) How to search: Not just only type in what you are searching for. Also try to find synomyms and don't forget about misspellings. Many sellers type their items wrong. Than not many people find the offer and buyer's competition is pretty small. Safe the items you are interested with the option "watching this item". before you make your first bid, watch many items without bidding, so you are getting a better feeling for the how to do. Never start bidding immediatly but put it on your watchlist. If you decided to start bidding on something, think about the max. amount you want to bid (never forget to calculate shipping costs as well (if the seller wrote nothing about shipping costs yet - ask him in time and safe that email!). Than - a few seconds before the eBay auction ends confirm your bid. If you won the auction, it is perfect. You got it for sure cheaper than at any normal shop as you checked out the price already. If you now won the auction - doesn't matter. Finally you did'nt pay to much.
